I will be staying in Siena for two days in June (Sunday/Monday June 8-9). We will have a rental car. I would like to do one day for San Gimignano and one or two wineries in the Chianti area (Greve?). The next day I would like to go to Montalcino and Montepulciano. Can you make a recommendation for an itinerary? It is difficult to determine how much one can see in a day (I don�t know travel times) without rushing. We do not need a tour at every winery, just tastings and maybe one tour. ...

We are two belgian friends who decided to spend our holidays in Florence.

During one of my trips on a cruiseship I met a wonderful couple from Puerto Rico. They strongly recommended me the Tuscan Wine Tour with Rebecca as they had done it themselves in October 2006. And I must thank them for this golden tip.

It was a great opportunity to explore the region and its ...."flavours"....

We made the Brunello di Montalcino tour and made acquaintance with some extraodinary people!!!

Thank you again for the great tour! We really enjoyed meeting you and learning so much! We have a new appreciation for Italian wine. We put our Brunello in the china cabinet for now, and we have to try hard each day not to open a bottle! San Polino was beautiful and lunch was our best meal in Italy! Ok,

I will be arriving at Livorno via a cruise.

I have one day in Tuscany with several options planned I can choose or do something on my own. I have a large wine collection and like Tignanello, Cerbaiona and Sassicaia amongst many others, so my dilema with only 12 hours is how much time I want to spend if any at all tracing down wineries when I have the following choices available to me:

Florence and Pisa with walking tour to Brunelleshci and other spots then to Pisa

We will be in Siena on July 30 and then staying at Villa Bodoni for 4 days. we would like to have done a wine tour with you from Siena but realise that there is none available that day. Hopefully will do the Chianti tour with you from villa Bordoni. I have found a tour company called Small Vineyards travel who's Brunello tour leaves from Siena. Have you heard of them? Villa Bordoni has not. I appreciate any help from you and I plan to see you in Chianti.

My wife and I are planning a trip to Tuscany for 3 days later this month. I am looking for help building an itinerary that will help us see and taste all that Tuscany has to offer. I am a little overwhelmed between reading my 800 page guidebook and surfing the web for ideas.

Mid May offers one of my favourite wine happenings at Villa Le Corti in San Casciano - just a half hour's drive from the center of Florence.

We will have a car and would like to plan a little drive around the region, with a few wine tours included. also looking for reasonable B&B type accommodation. Remember to ask me, and on the tours I will explain what to look for when buying olive oil to make sure that you get the real Extra Virgin Olive Oil. When the Chianti tours fill up we may be able to visit an olive oil farm.

Questions re visiting wineries

My husband and I (and our two teenage daughters) will be staying at a farm house in Montepulciano from 4 April to 7 April. Are there any wine tasting tours scheduled for that weekend? If not, how would we visit the wineries on our own? Are you aware of a website I could go to for information? Do we have to make reservations? Are the wineries generally open on the weekends? During my time in Tuscany, I would LOVE to do one of your wine tours of either a) Brunello di Montelcino and/or b) Chianti.

Questions:

1. My boyfriend and I plan to stay at a Bed & Breakfast called Le Camere di Bacco which was recommended by friends. Have you heard of it? Do you recommend it?

2. Is it possible to do a wine tasting tour with your company, and get picked up from the Montelcino bed & breakfast? Or would I have to be picked up from Florence?
