Thanks for posting your questions.
Regarding visiting wineries that make super tuscans, the two regions that have a higher concentration and are most famous for super tuscans are the Chianti Classico area and the seaside region of Bolgheri.
Bolgheri has a high concentration of super famous wines such as Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Guado al Tasso, etc. Most of the wineries in this region only receive visitors through the Consorzio. Here's a list of wineries: http://www.bolgheridoc.com/html.aspx?page=aziende.html&id=1519
Chianti Classico also has a range of rather famous Super Tuscan wineries such as Montevertine, Riecine, Isole & Olena. Here's a list of Super Tuscans and their wineries: http://tuscany-wine.com/super_tuscans.htm. Try to contact each winery individually for an appointment. |

The Cepparello by Isole & Olena looks like an interesting wine to try. I tried to find contact information for the Isole & Olena winery on the internet with no success. Do you know if they have a website?
By the way, I met the winemaker Giovanni Folonari a few days ago at a store in Chicago. I purchased a bottle of his Super Tuscan wine (100% Cabernet) called Il Pareto. Have you tried it or visited his winery, Tenuta Di Nozzole?

| As to Isole & Olena: the winery doesn't advertise much for visitors and is not set up for tourists. But it will receive people who are interested in buying their wines there. I haven't been able to find a web-site either so my conclusion is that they are not interested in having one? Anyway, the email is: isolena@tin.it so maybe try an email first, if not just stop by one day within Italian office hours.
Tenuta di Nozzole definitely produces a great Super Tuscan. You will find it easier to approach: http://www.tenutefolonari.com/contatti.aspx?posizione=contatti

Isn't it funny that today I toured a lovely couple from Texas and they told me that they had met you in Venice a couple of days ago at a restaurant. What a small world! So cool
